UltraViolet on Twitter Permanently Suspending Donald Trump’s Account: “BOY BYE. This was long overdue.”
In reaction to Twitter’s announcement that it will be permanently suspending Donald Trump’s account, Bridget Todd, Communications Director at UltraViolet, a leading national women’s organization, issued the following statement:
“In the words of Beyonce: BOY BYE. This was long overdue.”
UltraViolet, as a member of the Change the Terms coalition, had called on Twitter to permanently ban @RealDonaldTrump from the platform.
