This Letter Calling Out “Sexist” 2020 Coverage Demands Women Candidates Get Treated Fairly
The media needs to change how it treats women candidates vying for the presidency in the 2020 election, according to a coalition of women’s rights groups. At least 20 organizations signed a letter calling out “sexist” 2020 coverage of women candidates in the 2020 Democratic primary. Furthermore, the groups laid out three demands they believe will ensure women candidates receive equal coverage and are treated fairly.
Organizations like Ultraviolet Action, Emily’s List, Feminist Majority Foundation, Not Without Black Women, Women’s March, and others highlighted what they believe are big problems with the press coverage of women candidates.

The disgraced cop turned himself in to authorities this morning.
For weeks, activists in the Miami area have been putting pressure on State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle to charge Giraldo in the case. A Color of Change petition demanded the state lock the officer up, while another petition from UltraViolet called for the Miami Dade Police Department to fire Giraldo as soon as possible.

That’s why we're flying airplane banners to keep Trump’s ties to child sex abuser and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein in the news. Epstein’s more than 1,000 survivors deserve transparency and justice. Your gift today will keep the spotlight on Trump’s and Bondi’s deflections and center survivors in the public narrative!
