“Elon Musk’s harassment of Twitter’s Vijaya Gadde today is proof positive that his leadership of the company will open the floodgates of harassment and abuse, specifically targeting women and people of color.
“Make no mistake, the fact that not even one day after the deal was announced, Musk was already breaking the terms of his agreement with Twitter to explicitly single out and encourage harassment against one of Twitter’s top employees, is all you need to know about his intentions.
“Women of color already face disproportionately high levels of vitriol, harassment and bullying on social media – and Elon Musk will make it worse.
“There’s still time for Twitter’s Board of Directors to put his users first – and reject the deal.”
