NBA moves All-Star game from North Carolina
Over 45,000 UltraViolet members succeeded in demanding the NBA–and its top sponsor, PepsiCo–move the 2017 All-Star Game out of Charlotte, after legislators passed HB 2–the state law that criminalizes transgender people for using the restroom and strips local protections for the LGBTQ community.
