Hundreds of sexual assault survivors call for dismissal of upstate New York judge who did not send child rapist to prison
The women’s advocacy group UltraViolet is asking the New York Commission on Judicial Conduct to remove McClusky. Nearly 35,000 people have signed their petition, including more than 675 survivors of sexual assault, the group said Wednesday.
“No one should have to go through an entire court case just to be told that their assault didn’t matter, but that’s what Judge McClusky said,” UltraViolet said in a letter to the commission.
