“Take It Down’s success rests entirely on the shoulders of survivors,” Jenna Sherman, campaign director at the feminist organization UltraViolet, told Jezebel.
“We’re currently witnessing a very high-profile case that involves a very, very rich and powerful person and are experiencing together with Cassie the courage it takes to look your abuser in the eye, in court, in public,” Arisha Hatch, the interim executive director of UltraViolet, a woman-led gender justice organization, says.

"We want the Trump administration, we want Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is a Floridian herself, to come to their senses, to do what they claim they do, and to protect women by extraditing these men to face their day in court," UntraViolet's Rosa Valderrama said.
“The goal is two-fold. Survivors deserve justice. The Tates have to face their accusers in a court of law. That is our primary goal. We’re also looking to warn women and girls in Miami and across the country about the danger these men represent,” said Rosa Valderrama, the South Florida-based director of the campaign.
“There will ultimately be backlash to the backlash, and it’s our job to swing the pendulum back,” said Shaunna Thomas, outgoing executive director of women’s group UltraViolet.
