Following Cover-up Efforts on Epstein Files, NYT’s Andrew Tate Story Further Confirms that Trump and Bondi Are Protecting Predators

New York Times Exposé Adds Damning Details, Poses New Questions About the Trumps’ Involvement in Freeing, Protecting Andrew and Tristan Tate

UltraViolet Action, a leading national women-led gender-justice organization responsible for numerous impactful victories against sexual predators like Harvey Weinstein, R Kelly, and Bill O’Reilly, released the following statement after The New York Times reported on a story offering new details, accounts, and confirmations around the Trump family and the Trump administration’s actions to support and protect Andrew and Tristan Tate, while endangering women in the United States and around the globe.

“During the election, Trump and JD Vance campaigned on protecting women and children,” said Elisa Batista, campaign director with UltraViolet Action. “But from covering up the Epstein files, to protecting Ghislaine Maxwell, to freeing Andrew Tate, it’s clear that the Trump-Vance administration would rather protect pedophiles, human traffickers and rapists rather than actually having the backs of women.”

Tate is a misogynistic influencer who has talked about raping women on camera and reportedly makes money teaching other men how to sexually traffic women. As UltraViolet’s petition makes clear, Tate and his brother, Tristan, are wanted on charges of rape and human trafficking in the United Kingdom, where they were supposed to be extradited after their legal proceedings in Romania concluded. Until earlier this year, the Tates were barred from traveling outside of Romania, where they were held facing charges of human trafficking and forming an organized ring to sexually exploit women, and where they are still under investigation for trafficking minors for sexual exploitation. That changed when, as the Financial Times originally reported, and as The New York Times further confirmed in an article this week, the Trump administration intervened on their behalf.

“Imagine if instead of protecting abusers, we had an administration that centered and supported survivors,” Batista said. “The story of this year has been one of women who, although they shouldn’t have to, risk everything to tell the truth. Not thanks to, but despite of, an administration bent on supporting rapists, traffickers, and abusers at every step of the way.”

In March, after the Tate brothers were freed and returned to South Florida, UltraViolet carried out a local awareness campaign, putting up posters in English and Spanish warning local women of their presence.
