National Gender Justice Organization Launches Effort to Extradite Alleged Rapist Andrew Tate to the UKGroup Put Up “UNWANTED” Posters In English and Spanish Across Miami to Warn Women of the Danger Posed by Andrew and Tristan Tate’s Return to the US

MIAMI, Fla. — UltraViolet, a national women-led gender-justice organization responsible for numerous impactful victories against sexual predators like Harvey Weinstein, R Kelly, and Bill O’Reilly, announced today a new campaign denouncing the Trump administration for allegedly bringing Andrew Tate back to the United States. UltraViolet is demanding that instead of importing sexual predators that put women at risk, the Trump administration extradite brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate to the UK to face their accusers in a court of law.

“Tate is a misogynistic influencer who has talked about raping women on camera and reportedly makes money teaching other men how to sexually traffic women,” said Rosa Valderrama, campaign director at UltraViolet. “For an administration claiming to ‘protect women,’ bringing a sexual predator to the streets of Miami is hypocritical, reckless, and dangerous.”

As UltraViolet’s petition makes clear, Tate and his brother, Tristan, are wanted on charges of rape and human trafficking in the United Kingdom, where they were supposed to be extradited after their legal proceedings in Romania concluded. Until recently, the Tates were barred from traveling outside of Romania, where they were held facing charges of human trafficking and forming an organized ring to sexually exploit women, and where they are still under investigation for trafficking minors for sexual exploitation.

“The Trump administration wants to portray itself as a protector of women,” Valderrama said. “But their work to bring Andrew Tate back to the streets of the United States reveals the administration’s true values and priorities. Trump does not care about protecting women. He is simply using women as an excuse to criminalize people seeking asylum and target our transgender siblings.”

The Tate brothers are back in the U.S., renting a mansion in Miami, a city where one of their accusers lives. In order to raise awareness of the threat the Tates pose to local women, UltraViolet created posters in English and Spanish, and put them up in Wynwood. The posters display the word “UNWANTED,” a picture of Andrew Tate, and QR code to landing pages with information about the Tate brothers’ alleged crimes and a petition signed by more than 10,000 people demanding that U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi extradite them to the UK.

“Our demand is clear,” Valderrama said. “If the Trump administration is serious about protecting women, then they must extradite the Tates to the U.K. The Tates must have their day in court and face their British accusers, who are also calling for their extradition. Survivors deserve justice.”
