SCARBOROUGH, MAINE — On Tuesday, April 4th, local members of UltraViolet, a leading women’s advocacy organization, will deliver a life-size plastic spine to Senator Angus King’s Scarborough office urging him to “show some spine” and join other Democrats opposing the nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
Yesterday, forty-one Senators confirmed that they would oppose the nomination of Neil Gorsuch, making him unable to clear the 60 vote bar to confirm a Supreme Court nominee.

“Gorsuch would be one of the most extreme justices on the Supreme Court and a disaster for women, LGBTQ people, immigrants, people with disabilities, and working people.
