UltraViolet Members Pledge to Hold Senator Flake, Senator Heller Accountable for Health Care Vote
On Thursday, August 10th, local members of UltraViolet, a leading national women’s advocacy organization, will deliver anatomically-accurate heart sculptures and “we won’t forget” signs to the in-district offices of Senator Dean Heller and Senator Jeff Flake, slamming them for their “heartless” votes to strip millions of Americans of their health insurance. While Republicans in the Senate failed to pass legislation repealing the Affordable Care Act, Senator Heller and Flake voted for the measure.
