TOMORROW: Plane Flies Over Manchester, Slams Senator Ayotte for Calling Donald Trump a “Role Model”
UltraViolet Action to Fly Plane Banner Reading, “HEY AYOTTE SEXIST TRUMP IS NO ROLE MODEL”
MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE — This Thursday, October 6th, UltraViolet Action, a national women’s advocacy organization, has commissioned a plane to fly over the city of Manchester slamming Senator Kelly Ayotte for her comments earlier this week in which she referred to Donald Trump as a role model. The plane will carry a banner reading: “HEY AYOTTE SEXIST TRUMP IS NO ROLE MODEL.”
Senator Kelly Ayotte was quick to withdraw her statement that Donald Trump is a role model, but has yet to pull her endorsement from the Republican presidential nominee who has repeatedly insulted women calling them “pigs,” “dogs,” and “slobs” and referring to former Miss Universe winner Alicia Machado as “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping.”
The banner will fly over the city of Manchester from 11:00am to 2:00pm ET. Later that evening, Donald Trump will participate in a town hall a few miles away from Manchester in Sandown, NH.
WHERE: The City of Manchester, New Hampshire
WHEN: Thursday, October 6, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST
“Donald Trump, a ‘role model’ — seriously? After Trump’s called women pigs, dogs and slobs, insulted a former Miss Universe winner’s weight, and bragged about not paying his taxes, it’s truly mind-boggling to figure out how Senator Ayotte can possibly think that. Voters in New Hampshire certainly don’t,” explained Karin Roland, Chief Communications Officer for UltraViolet Action. “Even after Ayotte walked back her comments, her continued support for Donald Trump proves just how out of step she is with New Hampshire women and constituents.”
