Women’s Group to RNC’s Sean Spicer: “Grabbing a Woman By the Genitals is the Very Definition of Sexual Assault”

When Asked If Trump’s Comments Constituted Sexual RNC Communications Director Sean Spicer Tells The Weekly Standard “I don’t know… I’m not a lawyer”

Last night, Sean Spicer, the Republican National Committee’s communications director refused to acknowledge that Donald Trump’s comments where he described forcibly kissing women and grabbing their genitals constituted sexual assault telling The Weekly Standard after the debate that, “I don’t know… I’m not a lawyer.”

In reaction to his comments, Nita Chaudhary, co-founder of UltraViolet Action, a national women’s advocacy organization, issued the following statement:

“The Republican National Committee needs to stop enabling Donald Trump and noryesmalizing his hate, racism and abuse of women. Grabbing a woman by the genitals is the very definition of sexual assault. Sean Spicer doesn’t need a law degree to know that, just a dictionary.”
